A typical treasure hunt
We start at the Tourist Office and follow the instructions in the game booklet. There's a new clue to find for every step of the hunt. Keep your eyes peeled for the tiniest details on the signs, façades, natural elements, works of art, and more. You don’t need to know a lot of facts to win, you mostly need some good eyes.
About 10 stages, an hour of walking, and no pressure! We take our time enjoying the Christmas decorations and even grab a mulled wine along the way. The whole family comes back together for the end of the mission.
Have we collected all the clues? Let's find the (French) treasure word. We put the letters in order, rub our hands together to warm them up, and start brainstorming. Have we got it? YES! We run off to collect our reward waiting for us at the Tourist Office.
Around sixty new itineraries
What we love about treasure hunts is that no two are the same.
Mulhouse has one focused on nature and animals. Colmar has a gourmet treasure hunt and Strasbourg's is historical. Ruffach's is bewitching and Riquewihr's is a thriller.
We choose our universe: elves, castles, music, or crafts. The Christmas treasure hunts in Alsace are legendary!
