Gunsbach has, in many respects, exerted a great influence on Albert Schweitzer. Albert Schweitzer
built this house in 1928 with money from the Goethe Prize of Frankfurt. In this village, he had known for fifty years, he wished to develop an oasis of peace in his turbulent life.
Discover, in this house - his bedroom and his study - the Diploma of the Nobel Peace of 1952 - a family tree and many other objects of this great man.
