Evening in Alsatian

E Vehmässigi Wihnachte - An Alsatian evening from Advent to Epiphany narrated and sung by Roland Engel accompanied by Isabelle Loeffler, Vincent Bor and Jean-Luc Lamps From snakes to lions, whales, bears, wolves, dogs, bees, calves, goats, fish, ostriches, quails, gazelles, deer, grasshoppers and more, the Bible mentions over 150 animals. I can't list all the zoology it contains here! We even discover that some of them can speak (Balaam's donkey). There is no evidence that any of them witnessed the birth of Jesus, even though popular tradition has it that there was a donkey and an ox near the manger that served as his cot, but the opposite is no more certain. So I took the liberty of inviting some of them to the event and decided to give them the floor. They are not necessarily the ones you would think of at first glance, but their presence in this part of the world is in any case accredited by biblical texts. Let's see if what they have to tell us is credible?
