Christmas market in farms

Want to experience a Christmas of yesteryear ? Decorated farms, scents of mulled wine, will bring you into the authentic atmosphere of Alsatian heritage.

Four beautifully decorated farmhouses will open their doors to welcome visitors in an atmosphere reminiscent of the Christmas of yesteryear. The smell of mulled wine and gingerbread will invade the atmosphere for the pleasure of young and old alike. Authenticity is the watchword of the organizers. The centre of the village will be closed to traffic from 3:30 p.m., allowing visitors to stroll in peace and quiet to visit the 80 or so artists and craftspeople who will be presenting their works. From decoration, through painting and other accessories to the sale of the king of the forest. Without forgetting the gourmet section, essential for a successful end of year festivities: the Bredeles made by the village's pastry chefs, sausages, honey, and above all the presence of the real Santa Claus and his elves. His arrival is scheduled for around 6.45 pm. To be patient, young and old are invited to meet the storyteller at the red farm and at the church to visit the living nativity scene. A Gospel choir will perform many Christmas carols. Les Fermes de Noël is also a moment of solidarity with the presence of Secours Populaire who will collect toys in good condition. To satisfy their hunger, visitors will be able to taste a good soup, baguettines, waffles, pancakes, hot chestnuts, without forgetting the essential dish without which a Christmas market would have much less charm, mulled wine, an old-fashioned recipe.
