15 ème édition des "Fermes de Noël"

For this 14th edition, the streets of the little village, nestling in the Kochersberg a few kilometres from Strasbourg, will be transformed by the associations and residents into a Christmas Mecca. It's a great place to spend time with family and friends.
Authenticity is the watchword of the organisers of this year's event, which promises to be even more attractive than its predecessors. The Christmas Farms are five farms, each bearing the effigy of a different colour, which will be opening their doors to welcome the 90 artisans who will be presenting their work and gift ideas for the Christmas tree.
The scents of cinnamon, aniseed and mulled wine, which can be enjoyed around log fires and braziers, will be your guides and help you relive the Christmases of yesteryear. The Quatzenheim associations will be offering Christmas bredle made by the village bakers.
The village centre, which is the focal point of this unusual Christmas market, will be closed to traffic from 3.30 p.m. so you can stroll through in complete safety and peace of mind.

From 4.30 p.m., the Christmas market will be packed with entertainment.
At regular intervals in the centre of the village, the RPI schoolchildren and the local choir will be singing along to the tunes. In the church, a storyteller will take children into the wonderful world of Christmas. At around 7pm, Father Christmas will come to reward all the children present. And in the library, there will be snowflake tales.
Children will also be able to post their letters to Santa in the letterbox provided. The "secours populaire" will be on hand to collect toys, either new or in good condition, as will Marthe's children, who will be selling their traditional calendar.
