St. Thomas' day: animation
As part of the Advent calendar activities, we celebrate St Thomas' Day on 21 December. Children carrying fir trees accompany the light bearers. According to tradition, it is from the winter solstice onwards that the Alsatians were allowed to cut their fir trees in the forest.
