Concert of Christmas carols from around the world by students from the Centre de Formation de Musiciens Intervenants. Choir, singing, guitar accompaniment, supervised by Diane Bucciali, Lorena Zarranz and Chloé Frantz. For 37 years, the CFMI in Sélestat has been training creative, open-minded professionals capable of initiating projects aimed at democratising musical education and promoting local cultural and artistic development. Christmas always gives us a wonderful opportunity to get together and share musical moments, often filled with emotion and harmony. The students will be playing a wide range of pieces to take you on a journey beyond borders. Isn't that what music has always been about? So this is your chance to discover Christmas music from around the world and here at home. On the programme: Northern Light (Ola Gjeilo), Choral (J-S Bach), Provençal Christmas, Polish Christmas, Candlelight Carol (John Rutter), Alsatian Christmas, Catalan Christmas, Swedish Christmas and an extract from the Missa Criola.
