Exhibition: Bees, honey and gingerbread

Discover the important role of the bee as a sentinel of the environment, its usefulness and, accompanied by the beekeeper, its work in the hive. The beekeeping equipment and the pedagogical tables of the Walther family of Stundwiller reveal the fascinating world of the queen and her workers.
As winter and Christmas approach, the products of the beehive are used to care for, nourish and delight, especially honey, which is used to make gingerbread, formerly called "honey bread". Decoupoirs and old pictures lent by the Lips House in Gertwiller decorate the traditional ice tongues and tell the story of Christmas traditions.
